Absolutely - I know there are Trackpad fans but I tend to find myself
tapping away with three fingers to no affect in an increasingly Basil Fawlty
like frenzied attempt to get Voiceover unmuted. Now I have my key set up in
keyboard Commander, there is no problem.

I wonder if there is a difference in responsiveness between the integrated
trackpad of the Macs - I phone and the standalone Bluetooth Trackpad for the
Imac? I mentioned this on another list when I first bought my I Mac last
year and it bought an interesting response. Another person said that he
also found the magic Trackpad over sensitive and difficult to use, but he
said that the Touch interface on the I Phone was vastly superior. In fact
this person said that he wanted Apple to amend its magic trackpad so that
it responds more like the touch Screen of the I Phone.

This difficulty with the magic Trackpad has, for me, been the major
disencouragement from getting an I phone. it would be useful then if
anybody else could confirm that the Magic Trackpad is inferior to the touch
screen of the I Phone .

That's true as well, but some users have no track pad hence why I teach the
keyboard commander..

Hope that helps.
