Hi there

Bear with me, because I'm not too technically savvy at times. On Friday, I
did some updates to my system. I'm running Lion on my Macbook Pro. Since
then, when I go to the ELive room in Blackboard and go to run a recording of
a lecture that is available, it gives me the following error message.

Application error
Unbable to launch the application
Name
Elluminate live
Publisher
Elluninate inc.
>From http://elive.deakin.edu.au:8080

When I click on details I get the following:
Error
Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system and signed
resource (and then it gives a complicated web page)

I had a look on the web, and from what I can figure out, I have a version of
java that is not supported by ELive. I tried to set the java preference to
an earlier version using utilities java preferences but I got an empty table
and the word version. I can't figure out how to go back a version using the
command line in terminal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paula

You're on it. What do you need help with regarding your mac? Any error
messages, and specks of the machine would be helpful.
