Yes, I tried your suggestion of the v o shift h and then it's worked 
consistently from that point on just using v o shift m while interacted in the 
header.  For some reason perhaps on the first time of v o shift h perhaps it 
highlights something hidden in there.  Now I have not turned off mail and 
restarted it to see if it will remember into the next session, but will be 
interesting to know if it does.   

Thanks for the tip that works better than virtual click which doesn't seem to 
work 100% of the time for some reason.
