Hi Jim, in the VoiceOver help system I read that selecting a modifier can be
useful to perform added functions when dragging and dropping. For example,
choosing the option key modifier, will cause a file to be duplicated at the
drop position, instead of the file being physically moved. I don't know of
any functionality of the other modifiers.
