Hello. Great. Also, I'm having trouble with my trackpad. Originallly, I st the trackpad not to respond when I touched it; now since Mountain Lion, it responds when my thumbs brush across it. How do I stop this behavior?

Hello all.
All of a sudden VoiceOver was acting very weird. Lol! For example, I could not interact with the HTML content in Messages, nor could I interact with the messages table in Mail. Since I did not know what to do despite restarting VoiceOver several times and even restarting my Macbook Pro, I decided to reset all my VoiceOver preferences. Well guess what? That worked a treat didn't it! It has at least solved my problems interacting with the messages table in Mail. So if you have any weirdos with VoiceOver, give this a shot. You can reset all VoiceOver preferences in the VoiceOver Utility, under the file menu.
Hope this is of some use.
