Hehahaha. it would be nice but in the 2 years I've  owned an iPhone I've never 
found a way to select all, maybe if there is a JB hack for those of us who did 
a JB patch on our phone, but for us normal users there is no way to do this, 
maybe in the next ios version, 7 if I'm counting correctly? maybe if enough of 
us suggest it, yet there is a delete all when viewing a thread  of messages so 
maybe, just maybe, there's hope.
