Oh, ok, I see what you're now saying. You didn't mean delete the actual
mailbox. You were saying open it up with vo back slash, then! go down to
the actual person. That makes more sense. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Thank you kindly,

Yah that's what I mean. go to the vip folder, expand it and delete the
folder name of the person you want to remove for example jane doe under
the vip folder.

Yikes! Whoa! baby!
You misunderstood what I wanna do. I'm not trying to delete the entire
mailbox. I only want to delete certain people from it, so that their
e-mails no longer are placed in the mailbox. I still want the mailbox, I
just don't want e-mails coming from Jane Doe to be placed there
automatically anymore.
More simply put, I want to remove people from the v i p list whom I've
made be v i p members. Does that make a bit more sense?
Thank you kindly,
Christopher-Mark Gilland.

Nope. just vo shift m on the vip mail box from osx and click remove from
VIP. it should, keyword being should, go away.
Be blessed.

OK, so this question pertains both to I O S, as well as to O S X,
however, I'm gonna approach it from the O S X observation, unless you
all think doing this would be easier in I O S instead.
So, with that said in mind, I understand in Mail, on the Mac side of
things, how to add contacts to my V I P mailbox. But, my question is,
let's say that down the road, I don't want them any longer in my V I P
mailbox. So, how then do I go about getting their e-mail addresses out
of there? Can I just do that under the section in Preferences whereby
I'd normally go to set up mail rules/filters in general?
Chris.
