audio description can be got to from the toolbar. interact with it and vo right arrow to get to preferences button. vo space to open preferences, vo right arrow which should take you through the options. you should find audio description just before its checkbox. hit vo spacebar to check the box to the right where it says "audio description" and you should get audio description when you exit preferences and download your programmes if it is available for that particular programme.

Hello Paul,

To get audio-described content, do you have to check the Verbose
box or is it somewhere else?

Cheers,

Anne

Hello Michael,
Look at the free App get itplayer automator. I don't think it
is in the App store so you will have to google it. YOu can use it anywhere in the world via a proxy site to download BBC radio and TV programs and I think also ITV and Channel 4. YOu enter words from the title of the desired program into a search box. this returns a list of al matching programs. YOu select the desired programs and add them to a download Queue. You then start the download. YOu can set a preference to say that you want audio described programs. It is very good and I use it all the time.
best regards....
