Hi Lynne How are you? I use the native Facebook application on my IOS devices. I find it works quite well except that you now don't seem to be able to tag people in posts. You can create a FB account from the app itself, I used the web site to create mine though, so don't know how accessible the app is for creating accounts. In terms of twitter, I use Tweetlist on my IOS devices, and Night Owl on my mac computers. In tweetlist, you can do extended tweets.
