Um, well, what did you expect? Really, it's pretty good, you get two
different operating systems on one machine without having to switch
machines. and you can load the other OS without sighted assistance. Try
that with a straight windows machine.
anyway, it's totally doable, money notwithstanding, and accessible, which is
originally what you asked. Maybe you can find a lower priced copy of
windows someplace. I'm sure they are out there. For example, I'm running a
copy of xp I had lying around here, so not exactly the latest and greatest
version.

Fusion is a program which lets you run a copy of windows on your mac as a
virtual machine. I think it costs around $50, well, $49.95 for the
latest version. I also think they have a trial version which you can try
out for 30 days for free. You can go to www.vmware.com and take a look,
but be warned, I personally hate their web site and think it's a bear to
navigate! On the other hand, I love using fusion on my mac and this is
what I use for my windows needs on my mac.
