No. Not being snippy, just being factual.

Let's just drop it. I said how I felt, if you don't agree with it, that's fine. As I said, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just because mine's different doesn't mean I'm trying to be rude etc, nor shove my thoughts down anyone's throat. If you don't wish to take my help nor advice, then don't. Plain and simple. No one is forcing you to do so. I do however feel that this topic is becoming heated. I therefore kindly ask going forward if you want to say anything to me about this, please do so off list privately, as the list doesn't need to be cluttered with opinion based personal matters.

My address is:

ch...@clgproductions.com

Thanks.

Chris.

OK, sorry then for offerring my advice. Yes I do still think the stratigy would work, but you're entitled to your opinion, and with that said, it's all I'm gonna say any further on this topic. I offered my help. It doesn't mean you have to take it. Smile.

Hi Chris,

Since the Vi market is less then 5% of apple's total market. do you really think your stragity will really work? Sorry, you are not a big enough fish. for Apple to truly care or even bow down to the pressures. They will just turn around and say it is your business therefore you occur the cost. We are just providing the platform.

As long as the pod is accessible to play, then there is no issues from the average user. So the people that this effects is podcasters which is even a smaller group then the whole VI group.

Hello everybody

We just got this from iTunes. I think it's going to kill a lot of visually impaired people's podcasts.

<SNIP>

New Cover Art Requirement
iTunes has been completely redesigned and there are new requirements for podcast cover art. To be eligible for featuring on iTunes Store, a podcast must have 1400 x 1400 pixel cover art in JPG or PNG format using RGB color space. The image URL must end in ".jpg", ".jpeg" or ".png" and the server hosting the image must allow HTTP HEAD requests. See our technical spec below for details.

Technical Spec: http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/specs.html

Server Configuration Requirement
Podcast streaming playback on iTunes requires all hosting servers to enable Byte Range Requests. Please confirm your hosting servers have this functionality enabled. If you work with a third-party hosting service, please contact them to confirm this functionality is enabled on their servers.

155 Countries & More Than 100 Languages
iTunes Podcasts has launched in additional countries around the world. Note that reviews and ratings are unique to each country. Podcasts are published in more than 100 languages.

Now, correct me if I am wrong. But it's my understanding that blind people have no use for these images. Who, I wonder, came up with this crazy mandate?
