Hi, Gordon. Believe Microsoft handles Word docs differently in Word
for Mac than they do with Word for the PC. My significant other has
sent me Word docs from her Mac and I can't read them. Just my few
cents' worth.

Hi all
I know this is a very old topic, but I'd be interested to know how,
using modern-day software, people ho about editing Word documents on
the Mac. I need to use this format for compatibility reasons, and I
really don't want to have to go into Windows to do the job. But I
need a way of accessing headings, footers, lists etc., as well as
actually inserting those types of fonts. What would people
recommend as the easiest way of accomplishing this? Docx is
essential I'm afraid, there's no working around that.
Kind regards
