The only suggestion I can make is that you experiment with settings in 
Voiceover with Fine reader in focus that result in these messages not being 
announced. If necessary you can mute speech. Once you have found the settings 
that suit you create an activity setting in Voiceover Utility which replicates 
these settings. Activities are the way \Voiceover allows application specific 
settings.
If you do need to turn speech off in Fine reader you will want a  an easy way 
to turn speech back on. If you are happy with Track Pad commander you can do 
this easily but personally i set up a keyboard shortcut in keyboard commander 
which toggles speech on  and off. i use the right option key and A for this 
purpose.
This reminds me that now i have reset Voiceover I must go back and reset all my 
Activities and keyboard shortcuts.
