I suspect that Sarah is mostly correct. Its murky ground here. The fact that IOS7 and mavrics beta code is available to anyone who opts to fork over $99 to Apple is public knowledge, as are many up-coming features. I would think that such discussions are topical.

If I signed the NDA and installed IOS7, and experienced problems, I suspect that I am bound by the NDA not to dump that kind of information on a public list, which is why I was inviting private contact.

Thanks again for all who have responded both publicly and privately.

Geoff

This discussion and all similar subjects not infringing upon the NDA to be more acurate. Discuss ios7 and osx10.9 to the hills with speculations rumours and feature wishlists obviously.

I think this discussion is in violation of the nda of a developer hence why I sent him a message off list just to be safe. Hope that helped btw.

Whereas this discussion is probably in violation of apple's nda I so move that this discussion and all further discussions regarding ios and mavrics should not be discussed on this or any other places until said operating systems, that being mavrics and ios7, are released to the public this fall.

Take care, and sorry to be harsh but I take the apple nda seriously. I'm not moderator of this list but I don't want to see anyone get in trouble as this list does have a searchable archive anyone can access.

Be blessed and have a good evening all.

Eek, Snap!

Ihh, That was kind a rude. The guy was just asking a question, and counter to your opinion, it's one of many, so I'd not just assume that hardly anyone's gonna try it, and jump down his throat. Frankly, I think that was a very valid thing to ask.

What would be the point of a beta, if no one came forward to chance things. I mean, really? Sir?

Chris.

Do you really need an answer to this question? Surely, if you sit in a
dark room, on your own, in silence, and ask yourself this question,
you will find the answer.

I'd be amazed if anyone risked there primary phone with a very early
beta version of the oS.

Greetings,

I'm considering registering as a developer so that I can have access to the IOS7 beta. A little cursory Googling suggests that this initial beta is very rough around the edges. Still, I'd like to provide input about IOS7 before it is released. My question (if anyone can respond without violating any NDAs) is whether it is realistic for a totally blind person to install and use IOS7 on his/her primary phone at this point in the IOS7 development
cycle.

If answering here is getting into sticky territory, any/all private notes
would be greatly appreciated!

TIA, and best regards.
