I just tried option clicking on the dropbox extras menu item using mouse
keys and it works.
In system prefs, go into the accessibility pane. Then, in the accessibility
features table, select mouse and trackpad. check the "enable mouse keys" box
to turn mouse keys on. then go into its options (the next button to the
right) , and enable the "press option key five times" checkbox. Press the
"done" button at the far right to exit mouse keys options, then exit system
prefs, and you're ready to go. try pressing option key 5 times to turn on
and off mouse keys to make sure its working, you'll hear a series of
ascending and descending clicks indicating mouse keys on and off. .
Now, when you need a mouse button to click, use the USB keyboard numpad. 5
clicks the mouse, while 4 and 6 move it left and right, and 8 and 2 move it
up and down.
I think There are sound effects somewhere you can turn on to let you know
the mouse is moving, and you can set it to speak the item under the mouse in
VO settings as well.
finally, you can check the mouse position with VO F5. Pressing it once tells
you what's under the mouse, pressing it again speaks the coordinates
relative to the screen, and a third press speaks the coordinates relative to
the current window.

Turn on mouse keys under accessibility un system prefs by going to the
options button under mouse keys and checking the box that say hit option 5
times. then after that hit option 5 times when you do the extras menu
and dropbox and hit option I. I think ester c an describe this to you
better then I can since I barely know how mouse keys work.
Hth.

what do you have? a laptop? Do you have a mouse? I don't know any way to
do an option click without a mouse or a trackpad of some kind, either a
standalone trackpad or one built into a laptop.
whatever you have, mouse or trackpad, hold down the option key and
either press the trackpad or execute a mouse click on the mouse. If
nothing else, you can get a simple USB mouse with right/left buttons for
less than $20 at any electronics store - it doesn't have to be an Apple
mouse.

Hi Phil,
Unfortunately, I don't happen to have a track pad! Is there an
alternative way to do this? Thanks tons!

depending on the dropbox version, you'll have to do an option click on

Subject: Dropbox Question
Hi Everyone,
I haven't used my Dropbox account for well over a year, but now that
I have my new Brailliant 40 BI, I want to be able to store files and
folders there to be shared between my iMac, iPod Touch 4th
Generation, and my iPhone 4S. I just went to the Dropbox web site
and updated my account and then went to the Dropbox application on my
Doc on my iMac, but when I do that, I get the message that "Dropbox
has no windows!" What should I do to get things rolling? Thanks for
any help you can give me on this!
Best,
Desi
