What I do is do it in text edit and then paste it in the sigs dialogue. I have 
like 5 or 6 lines of stuff for one of my sigs which I'll put here for an 
example. I save each of them in a text file that way I don't' have to do it in 
case I have to reinstall mail.

The key is if you have more then 1 account or even 1 account put the sig in 
that account's area. so navigate to the first table where you see all then the 
accounts. and navigate to yours for example ham email. Then go to the next 
table and there will be your sigs. If you see nothing click add new signature 
then type the name of the sig you want then paste in the text you want. I'll 
show you my longest sig I have. for an example, and if you need to contact me. 
lol!
