Hi Orin, I am reposting a couple paragraphs from my previous paragraph. The first confirms your observation (IE that that method only works once), and the second describes the method that will bring up the customization dialog every time.

The right most button located just below the battery indicator acts as a toggle between normal and MySXM mode, or if the playing channel was not previously customized, one can use that button to specify options. Whether a channel has been customized or not, one can set options by using the button just to the left of the live/MYSXM toggle labeled "Action header myEnable"". From there, select "customize".
