Not sure when, I think it was either in Snow Leopard, or maybe Lion, that Apple entirely got rid of Rosetta, so you don't even have the option of installing it to run old PPC apps. Unfortunately , , , Eudora was one of those. I'd used it for a long time on Windows, before switching to the Mac in February 2008, and really liked it. I've been satisfied with Apple mail, it's a nice client. Only thing I wish it had, was the ability to send read receipts, which i'd seen in a lot of other clients on Windows.
