It is not true that there is no way of going through links.
There are multiple ways of navigating pages.
Use the web rota and quick nav to achieve a lot of this.
If you have quick nav turned on. Left and right keys together, you can cycle
through different presentations of link headings etc. by pressing left and
up key to cycle left and right and down cursor key to cycle right.
Pressing the up and down arrow will now navigate you through the last list
you called up.
In addition you might use item chooser which is my favourite way of finding
anything on a page.

Item chooser will provide a list of all the page elements and typing for
example single will narrow the list to any elements with that text in it.
This is a lot better than the JFW equivalent as it does not rely on you
finding the first letter of a link or heading or text. The item chooser will
preserve any element with, in this example, single in it,, wherever it
appears within that element, so it could be at the end of a line which says
for example "Its great to be single".

Greetings, it's Shannon again, the new Mac user. Smile.
I have heard there is no way of going through links on a safari page, as
there is in, say, JFW's links list in Windows. Firstly, is this true?
and if so, what is the best way to handle a Safari page? I tend to use the
track pad or flick through using VO right or left arrows.
An exampel of my struggle happened today on the New York Times Page. I saw a

link that said "single page", which puts the whole article on one page, and
this is how I like to read my articles inWindows because you avoid all the
junk.
But in Safari, I could not stop VoiceOver in time and there seemed to be no
quick way to get back to the single page link. Any ideas? I turned on
keyboard navigation so now if I press h for example I get to headings, but
is there anything else I can do?
And if I may, I also have a question about the reader command. In plowing
through Safari preferences, I saw that the reader command was hidden. SoI
showed it. So far none of the pages I visit have a reader option. Does VO
speak that reader is available like it does on the iPhone?
There is much I like about Safari, how it comes up and instantaneously plays

a video or audio, but navigating through a page gives me a headache. Smile.
Also my Mac is new, so it's got OS10 and all the latest updates.
thanks for any help.
I have been a quiet lurker here over the past month, trying to learn before
I made my purchase, and you all are very helpful.
Shannon
