Hi Sandy, Dane, Brenda, and Others, Here are the links to all the versions of Paprika Recipe Manager that are on sale for (U.S.) Thanksgiving. I've fixed the link for the Mac App here, so it will work for countries other than the U.S.:
• Paprika Recipe Manager for iPhone ($2.99, usually lists for $4.99) by Hindsight Labs, LLC http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/paprika-recipe-manager-for/id406732590?mt=8 • Paprika Recipe Manager for iPad ($2.99, usually lists for $4.99) by Hindsight Labs, LLC http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/paprika-recipe-manager/id392408028?mt=8 • Paprika Recipe Manager for Mac ($9.99, usually lists for $19.99) by Hindsight Labs, LLC https://itunes.apple.com/app/paprika-recipe-manager/id451907568?mt=12 Also, check the Paprika support web site for more information to frequently asked questions, and for direct links to the User Guides for each app: https://paprikaapp.zendesk.com/home I'll paste this information here: • Paprika iPhone user guide: http://www.paprikaapp.com/help/iphone/ • Paprika iPad user guide http://www.paprikaapp.com/help/ipad/ • Paprika Mac user guide: http://www.paprikaapp.com/help/mac/ Dane, the Cloud sync function allows you to sync all device information via a Paprika cloud account you can create. for instance, if someone decides to add a recipe or plan a meal on the Mac app, or iOS app, and you want this updated on your spouse's iPhone (or Android device with the Paprika app), so you can modify your shopping lists, the sync will take care of it. So anyone with a version of the Paprika app associated with that Paprika cloud account is always in sync with all the information -- doesn't matter who made the changes. It's the connection, sync, and information on the iOS devices that was always the weak point of MacGourmet, even after they came out with their own app. It wasn't as good, and simply wasn't as reliable. Paprika can be used entirely by someone who only has iOS devices. The only thing that's slightly tricky is batch importing your own text recipes into the app. That's possible to do with the iPhone app and iTunes file sharing, but it's a lot easier to do on the Mac and just using the Paprika Cloud sync. The format information is buried in the User Guides, but I gave an example in my posted reply to Dónal about this app last year.
