Hello folks, Is there any advantage of purchasing ABBYY FineReader from the website over the app store? I'm just curious about this, since one can procure the app either way. Also, has anyone tried plugging the Pearl camera into the Mac computer to see if it is recognized? I guess I could experiment with it. Currently, the only scanner that the Mac Air recognizes is my Brother MFC all-in-one. I haven't had much luck with it and Prizmo 2.
