Couldn't agree with you more on that. I would also add that much of the power of Amadeus Pro is hidden away and is not immediately evident and its only by playing with the software and perhaps taking a little time to read some of the manual that you really get a feel for the software.
Even the multi track recording can be used to great effect though the Interface and controls could do with a little refinement. I use the other editors mentioned here and do very much wish that Goldwave was available for the Mac but - until that time comes if it ever does - Amadeus Pro will do a very fine job.
