Thanks. I guess when you open Bluetooth preferences it automatically tries to pair. (New Mavericks behavior) I am trying to connect a bose soundlink speaker. When i hold down the pair button for 5 seconds and let go, that doesn’t seem to put it into the list of available devices. Anyone experienced with pairing this device with a Mac? Thanks. Marc
