Uh... I think I've said about 3 or 4, no wait, maybe 5? times? that I was
doing this not only on a macbook, but also have the issue on my mac mini.
No hard feelings, this isn't meant to be rude, so please don't take it that
way, but with all due respect, I really wish people who respond to messages
would read the entire message before just hitting the reply button after
maybe reading 2 or 3 sentences, as I've been seeing a lot of this lately
with posts I send, and had you read and been paying attention, you would a
seen me confirm this several times.
Anyway, it's all good, don't worry about it. No hard feelings. Shruggs.

Have you tried a full reinstall of mavericks/ I did and although
slow, I do see a slight speed increase.
