Hello to all. Let's ay hypothetically I reformat my hard drive and reinstall ml
from total scratch, on to a blank disk. I have file vault on my prior install
and have been using time machine to back up my stuff. The time machine disk is
not incripted.

Question. will I still be able to restore my data? or will I have to wait until
the os is installed then some how use migration assistent to copy tghe stuff
that should be incripted on to my internal drive. Keep in mine that during the
reinstall on to a reformated internal drive that file vailt is not yet inabled
on the brand new install.

My train of thought stops here. I guess what I'm asking is, is this
hypothetical reinstall on to this new blank internal drive possible wiht file
vault beeing enabled on an old install that is now bcked up to an unincripted
time machine drive?

take care.
