Hello,
I need to help a friend transfer about 100 photos from a Windows Notebook
computer to her iPad. We can use a memory stick to transfer the photos, each
with a suitable title, to a folder on my iMac but what then? The transfer to
the iPad would have to be done in such a way that all the existing iPad content
is preserved and no other data is transferred from my iTunes to the iPad. I am
concerned that a few months ago I connected a different iPad to my iMac which
caused iTunes to regard that iPad as a new iPad and thereby reset its software
level and all its content.

My friend would like the transfer to be local, not involving drop box or
Emails.

this is something I would never normally do so I would much appreciate your
advice.

When the photos are on the iPad how can my friend find a photo by its title and
view that photo?

Many thanks for your help.
