I haven't seen the mac pros, but when I got my macbook (not a pro) it
had both headphone and microphone jacks on the side, (iirc about 2
inches in front of the usb port on the left side of the macbook.
Unfortunately, I've not seen a pro, so don't know if their setup is
similar, but I'd wager it's close. I can't imagine apple would remove
the microphone jack from the laptops, but I guess anything's possible.
