This worked perfectly for me though. 1. I went into my SMS Text Message . 2. I got Voiceover to read the text message from my Vet. 3. I did a quadruple three finger tap. 4. Voiceover re-read the Text Message and told me that it had been copied to the clip board. 5. I pressed the home button and brought up Siri and told it to send an email to myself. 6. Rather than dictate the email contents I double tapped the edit area and then turn the rota to edit. 7. I swiped down once for paste and double tapped and the contents of the Text message was pasted into the Email. 8. I then sent it to myself for reading on the Mac.
If I had needed the number or any other detail from the Text message I would have used the app switcher to go back to the SMS message again used the same technique to get the number and then return to the email to paste in that also before sending. Thanks for the tip Matthew.
