Hello Margaret, I recently gave Thunderbird 24.6.0 a look on my 2013 Macbook Air running OS 10.9.4, but I gave up on it because there seems to be no accessible way to perform the mildly important task of adding or importing email accounts, as noted in items 3, 4 & 5 of my findings below. I didn’t test the app any further after hitting this roadblock.
1. The installation process is accessible. 2. Initial launch of the app presents an inaccessible dialog which can be closed by pressing Escape. 3. Thunderbird / Preferences is completely inaccessible to VO. 4. Tools / Account Settings is completely inaccessible to VO. 5. Tools / Import is completely inaccessible to VO.
