Sent from my iPhonhi all,
I just upgraded my Mac to Yosemite. And I have discovered a difference between
Yosemite and Mavericks which is annoying, to say the least.
I have a Mac Mini. I have a pair of speakers which are attached to that mini.
Sometimes, I like to use the mini internal speaker. Other times, mostly for
music or other entertainment, I use my external speakers. Under Mavericks, if I
turned on my speakers, the sound output automatically switched from the mini to
those speakers, and back again, when I turn the speakers off.this is no longer
the case. I have to go into system preferences, sounds, output, interact with
the table, and select my preferred sound source. That is a lot of steps. Worse,
as soon as I move from one sound source to try to find another one, voiceover
no longer speaks, because of course, the sound source is changing.I really need
to get this auto switching back. How can I do that?
Mary
