I have a Mac Book Air 2014 also and love it. Got it last January 26. Cannot believe how the time has passed. Another excellent book which can be got from the iBook store is Tim Sniffin's book. I have learned so much from Tim's and Janet's books and of curse lots from list members also.

Hi and welcome to the list. I have a 13-inch Mac Book Air and love it too. I’m still running Mavericks, which is what came pre-installed on here. I will probably upgrade to Yosemite sometime down the road, but I’m waiting until it is less buggy. This is my first Macintosh computer, and I got it last year just after Christmas. I just got hold of a Braille copy of Janet Ingber’s book entitled “Learn to Use the Mac with VoiceOver: A Step-by-Step Guide for Blind Users,” and I’m going to devote some time to it over the next several days. I think you’ll find this as well as other lists to be a wealth of information, minus the misinformation that pops up here and there due to spelling mistakes. I sure have.
