Hmm. Very good discussion question. If you are working with apps that have a lot of space then an ipad would work out fine. One example would be garage band. I personally don't like the ipods. they are too thin and for me seem very fragile. I know that when it comes time to get my masters in conducting i will be getting myself an ipad mini so I don't have to take out my phone and can turn it off when taking notes.
