Hi, I'm experiencing a strange glitch in clearing notifications on our iPhone 5S now that I have updated the OS. The normal procedure for clearing the notifications is not working for me any more as it had been.
After I updated our iPhone 5S to the most current OS release-- whenever I try to clear notifications from the notification screen (using voice over) they do not clear. Double-tapping the confirm clear button does nothing. It is so strange-- voiceover announces double-tap to clear notifications but that just doesn't work any more with voiceover turned on under this OS on our iPhone. However, a sighted person can clear the notifications, with voice over turned off. So it seems to be a problem with how the phone functions with voiceover turned on. Previously (before updating) to OS8 I never had any difficulty at all in clearing old notifications using voice over. Have any of you had this strange problem using voice over with your iPhone under this most current version and being unable to clear notifications as normal? Do you know of a fix or work around? or Is it a known bug that Apple will fix at the next release?
