Hi!
My Apple Time Capsule is now retired having given me 7 good years of
service.
I didn't want to go and buy another Time Capsule given I already had a
Rooter and WiFi functionality so I settled on a Western Digital 4TB My
Cloud drive which connects to the network.
The Apple Mac was able to find it and I was able to set up Time Machine
for backups to this drive without a hitch.
The My Cloud drives can be used for private cloud storage as well for
your own private use or to share parts of your data with other users.
Interestingly the HTML interface for the My Cloud drive is far more user
friendly with Voiceover on the Mac than it is with Window-Eyes on the
Windows PC.
There's a lot more to the WD My Cloud drive of course so of anyone wants
any technical data etc then please email me off list or go to Western
Digitals web site to have a look.
