You have to pay GST (and sometimes PST) and some shipping companies charge a
brokerage fee for charging you GST.
I once had UPS charge me $38. for the privlage of charging me GST on a
software upgrade. This was on top of the $30 plus I had already paid for
shipping. I don't order things from anyone using UPS for shipping anymore.
FedEX or DHL just let you pay the gst. The post office is OK, but slow.
