hey all; new to the list here.
i am wondering if there is anyone interested in swapping a working powerbook for my G3 minitower workstation? It's well loved, totally upgrade ready - and really has no "funkiness" to it at all - smooth sailing. it really owes me nothing - but is still quite a usable machine. det's: stable install of OS 8.6 G3 233 192 MB RAM typical 4 Gig drive with many licensed applications suitable for a graphic artist - i'm willing to leave these on, or wipethem out if requested. what am i interested in? a well equipped powerbook - mostly for my wife to surf with and check email. well equipped powerbook 1st Gen G3 Powerbook 1st Gen iBook i MIGHT even be down with swapping for an iMac - still unsure though. all reasonable, but will entertain just about any offer. just putting it out there - all offers will be responded to. basically - i;m looking to get rid of this machine and pick up something a little smaller, or a little more portable. would prefer to deal in the Toronto Area or GTA, thanks all! tony. -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
