Has anybody here had any GOOD experiences with Compusmart ? I was in there the other day looking for a couple of software programs. Although their staff were quite plentiful and there were only 3 other customers in the store, absolutely nobody came over to offer assistance. I browsed for about 10 full minutes in the Apple section and was trying out the new iMac for at least 5 more minutes. Still nobody came. Another couple was at the iMac before me and after several minutes, they left the store stating the service sucked (no kidding !) and that they would buy their iMac elsewhere.
I know exactly what Shawn King is going to say about this - "did you tell the manager that you were not happy with the service ? - or they won't know people are not satisfied". I did in fact ask to speak to the manager and voiced my concerns and left saying that I would be buying the software elsewhere. I also told him about the couple before me. He looked quite irritated (likely more about the computer) and offered to assist but I had long run out of patience by then ! They certainly won't get any business from me in the future.
