According to GURU (www.newerram.com) you can add either a 2 MB or 4
MB SO-DIMM to the 2 MB built-in VRAM.

I still dont think this will let you run openGL. and for 3d games a 4meg
card is not very good. Im not sure about this but i think i read once that
the AIO g3 is built on the same motherboard as the other beige g3's. which
would then leadme to believe it has pci slots. so you could get something
like a voodoo 3 on ebay for cheap and that would do you just fine. but im
not sure how you would wire it up for the internal video though.
the AIO i think is also upgradable to 6 megs of video ram on board. but im
not positve about that.
the voodoo 3 is a pretty good card for the money. it has 16 mb of ramn and
supports openGL as well as some other things. i have one in my 8500 with a
xlr8 300 mhz g3. I can play some newer games liek quake 3 that use a lot of
3d graffix no problem. But i havent tried anything really new on it so im
not saying that it stands up to an nvidia or something. Also if shes running
os x i dont think you will get the acceleration working properly with it.
if you check out www.mac3dfx.com you will find more information then you
need.
but then again if you cant get som sort of pass through working to the
internal video then it will be of no help at all.
