It's good of you to warn the troops of the potential, however :) BTW, anybody had a kernel panic, or more precisely, has anybody found OS X to be "problematic" in terms of stability. Distinctions between the OS and apps crashing would be good. For me, I've not had one kernel panic, and only had older versions of IE crash, older betas off Chimera crash, and Quicken conk out, occasionally.
