I've just joined this group. Let me tell you what I'd like to do and ask for your indulgent help.
I have lots of VHS home videos of family interest that I wish to edit ( a lot of cutting especially) and output both to VHS for family members who don't have DVD; but also to output to DVD.
Now I want to do this well, but like most folks I guess, do it on a small budget. I am a longtime Mac user and thinking of buying a new eMac or a used G4. So I'd like to hear from any Mac user in this group that has some suggestions both about hardware & software and any other specifically Mac suggestions..
