Kept the keyboard, kept the mouse, it was time. If I had my brains with me at the time, would've kept the beast.
HOWEVER, everything in one neat box would have NOT been the result. The great secret about the iMac in a box was everything was together; and it was quiet (which probably led to its early demise, ie no fan per se). To put an outboard monitor in place would've been counter - productive. Two (sic) many bits and pieces. The eMac was an all in one box; it failed in my expectations. The G3 iBook (14 inch) satisifes my needs. The iMac I believe as an idea has probably outlived its name. Much like a Honda Civic, once a small tiny as it were runabout it has grown to much larger proportions; so has the iMac... and by so doing is no longer probably quite what the creator intended... iBook G3 OS 9.2.2/10.2 30 GB HD 800 Mhz Bryce Lee Burlington, Ontario Canada eh? -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
