As I said in my previous post you open the installer's Get Info window 
and set it to open as a Classic/OS9 Application and close the Get Info 
window.  Then reinstall using the updated installer and it will open in 
Classic and install properly.  This is explained on their web site.

I downloaded the TaxTron  software but there seems to be a problem, I
get an error message when I try to use the program and it just
quits.....
has anyone else tried the download?, or should I do it again? or is
there a fast fix?
