New thread -- same vein.
I have a multitude of external scsi peripherals here... CD-ROMs and
burners... and an Adaptec SCSI-to-USB adapter that still works for non-X
systems. Is it as simple as pulling out the CD drive and installing the
hard drive or are there additional parts that have to be found? I'm
thinking specifically of the old Apple 300-CD (?) case. I tried to replace
the 2x drive with a free 24x drive but nothing inside matched up. I'm
hoping one of my older 3.5" P476/ iMac drives would fit and then that way I
would have a way of backing up the powerbook to a larger choice than
floppies.
