Hi,

the way I understand it, the limitation of 120gig is for the internal controller only. If you buy an external enclosure, just be sure that one support large drive. But with todays enclosure available, it should not be a problem at all.

iMac DV 500mHz with Firewire 400.

Am I limited to 120 GB on an external firewire drive with this computer?

Could I use a larger drive and have it partitioned to smaller drives?

Can I do that with this computer?

If not, and I had it partitioned using an XP box, could I then reformat the
partitions to Mac?

Thanks
