I started using Tiger, have upgraded to 10.4.3. Two things have eluded me.
How do I do a simple Find? (as in Command-F which brings up a window and
'apparently' needs to have the hard drive indexed by Spotlight, which I'm
not wanting to do for 16 hours.) And in Panther I allowed the computer to
go online when an app needed to be online but I can't seem to find that
elusive Tiger preference check box.
