Hey, don't confuse me with someone who actually knows what they are talking about!! I am familiar with the screen that you are describing .. I get it whenever I hook up a USB keyboard from a PC to my Mac, and then I think I get it again when I put my regular Mac keyboard back in place - but I don't really understand what is happening. I suspect that the presence of your other USB devices somehow triggers the Mac to ask the keyboard question, and if you just use the regular keyboard to respond to those questions, that part of the Mac will be happy. Whether or not the Mac will then "play nice" with your other USB devices is still another question, I think.
