Cna anyone make a suggestion on what I should do.

Haven't run motion, but when it came out (I was doing a production
with After Effects at the time) and it sounded like the recommended
minimum system was a dual G5 2GHz... - I took that to mean, that you
would be disappointed with anything less. And a dual 1GHz G4, would
be quite a bit less.
Not sure it's a wise investment to make.
