Have refrained from upgrading from VPC version 2 for so long - if it ain't broke etc etc...
After a long period of happy VPC DOS experiences, I came across a program that VPC just cannot run. The original Duke Nukem 3D no less. Duke tries to load but the video refuses to and crashes VPC fairly spectacularly, I then need to get back into the Mac as gracefully as I can :) This same Duke 3D runs quite happily on the Apple PC card in the same machine. G3 266 Mac OS 8.6 - VPC on this Mac runs DOS games like Doom and Quake without a hitch. Anyone had better luck loading Duke Nukem on VPC?
