I just signed up for this email list. I have been using DOS cards and emulators to run DOS on my Macs for sometime. I really just run DOS, so I do not know much of anything about Windows, but I am pretty proficient with DOS.
All of my prior DOS cards have provided video through the Mac. I have a PCI DOS card now and it does not do that. I have grown tired of 2 monitors and was wondering if anyone on this list knows of a source for the external video cable for the PCI DOS cards. I have tried the swap list, but as soon as someone realizes you want on the price goes up. Also I do have an Apple DOS cable, at least I think it is. It has 3 connectors one connector has the icon of a 5 1/4" floppy on it, one connector has the icon of a joy stick and the third connector simply has an Apple icon on it. If anyone can make use of that please feel free to contact me. I will say there is no particular reason I play with DOS. I guess that some people play computer games to wile away spare time and for me I guess that is mostly what DOS is about. It is impressive the amount of support that DOS still enjoys. I hope everyone has a happy new year. bill -- \/\i||i@^^ ()\/e -- Mac-N-DOS is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac-N-DOS list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-n-dos.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-n-dos%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
