Yeah, I'm still using Mac OS9.0.4 myself on an iMac and iBook (both late
2000 models). Hoping to move on up to 9.1 which I hear from so many people
is the most stable version of OS9.

I would go to Jaguar, but for one thing I just don�t have the cash, and also
its a ram hog. I have 320Mb in the iBook, and 384 in the iMac. The problem
with the iMac is that the 256Mb module I have in it is rated at 7
nanoseconds, which is too slow and therefore wouldn't be recognised for OSX
I think. Damn it all.

So if I want OSX, I'll have to buy another ram stick, and I ain't gonna do
that for a long while.

Incidentally, what's your opinion of the other side? Is XP a decent enough
OS? I used Win 98 and it seemed ok. Then again, I hardly knew a thing about
computers at the time.
